WhatsApp Authentication in 1-Click and One-Tap Autofill OTP

In the Authentication Templates category, Meta offers interactive buttons specially designed to make one-time password (OTP) entry easier.

Available authentication button types

1. “Copy code” button (copy_code)

Displays a button below the message that instantly copies the 6-digit code to the user's clipboard with a single tap.

2. One-Tap Autofill / Zero-Tap Autofill (one_tap)

Integrated with Android SMS Retriever / Autofill API. When the message arrives:

• The mobile operating system displays a direct invitation to fill the code in your application.
• The user does not even need to memorize or type the numbers: the registration or connection form is completed and validated automatically.
