How many messages can be delivered and how fast

EnvoiSMS.ma carries your SMS over local routes to IAM, Inwi and Orange, with automatic failover between routes. We do not guarantee a delivery time: in August 2026, the median time between sending and the carrier's delivery confirmation was between 13 and 40 seconds. That confirmation is only issued after the message has reached the handset.

Throughput

Throughput depends on your API key's request limit, set per minute by plan:

• Starter: 60 requests/minute; Business: 180; Pro: 500; Enterprise: 1,200
• The REST API's bulk sending endpoint accepts up to 10,000 messages per request
• High-volume accounts: limit raised on request

Factors that can slow down delivery

• Recipient's terminal turned off or out of coverage
• Temporary congestion of an operator's network
• Spam filtering triggered by atypical content or volume
• Sender ID not recognized or not registered with the operator concerned

For large-scale campaigns (>100,000 messages), we recommend contacting us beforehand to size the route and avoid any slowdown.
