What is the difference between an SMS with or without a personalized Sender ID?

SMS without custom Sender ID (default sender)

  • Price: Between 0.43 MAD and 0.31 MAD excluding VAT per SMS depending on the credit pack chosen (or lower for tailor-made volumes).
  • Sender: Uses the platform's default shared and approved sender name (for example "SendSMS").
  • Deliverability: Excellent deliverability via direct operator channels IAM, Orange and Inwi.
  • Ideal for: Standard notifications, newsletters and generic reminders.

SMS with personalized Sender ID (dedicated sender)

  • Price: Billed at a single, fixed rate of 0.792 MAD excluding tax per SMS by default.
  • Sender: Uses a personalized and dedicated Sender ID of 11 alphanumeric characters representing your own brand or company (e.g. "MaMarque"), after legal and administrative validation (24h to 48h).
  • Deliverability: Exclusive direct operator priority routing to guarantee optimal deliverability rates.
  • Best for: Critical OTP validation codes, security or banking app alerts, and priority brand communications.

Standard Rates for Personalized Sender IDs (Reserved for Businesses)

If you are a company registered in Morocco, you can benefit from the basic price scale (from 0.43 MAD to 0.31 MAD excluding VAT per SMS) on your personalized Sender ID. To do this, you must validate your account by providing the official documents required when requesting Sender ID registration on the console:

  • Commercial Register (RC) less than 3 months old.
  • ICE (Common Company Identifier).
  • Authorization form duly signed and sealed by the legal representative.

Once these supporting documents have been administratively validated by our teams within 24 hours, your shipments with personalized Sender ID will be billed at the same advantageous rate as standard SMS.

Billing method

There is no configuration to change at the subscription level. The balance of your prepaid account (purchased in the form of packs) is simply debited in real time depending on the type of sender and its validation status:

  • Default or empty sender → billing at base rate.
  • Approved personalized Sender ID with validated documents → billing at base rate.
  • Approved personalized Sender ID without supporting documents → billing at the rate of 0.792 MAD excluding tax per SMS.
