Rules applicable to Sender ID in Morocco

Required format

• Between 3 and 11 alphanumeric characters
• No spaces or special characters (accents, underscores, symbols)
• May not usurp a registered third-party trademark or operator name

Differences by operator

Each operator (IAM, Inwi, Orange) applies its own filtering rules and its own validation times for Sender IDs. A Sender ID validated with one operator is not automatically active with the other two — EnvoiSMS.ma submits your request to the three operators simultaneously in order to guarantee complete national coverage.

Documents that may be requested

• Trade register or ICE of the company
• Proof of brand ownership, if the name corresponds to a registered trademark
• Letter of authorization if you send on behalf of a third party (agency)

Deadline

Generally allow 24 to 72 working hours. Incomplete or ambiguous requests may take longer.
