To address this, EnvoiSMS launches the **Verify API**, a smart multichannel routing service integrating WhatsApp and SMS.
Our API operates with an automatic failover cascade logic. 1. **WhatsApp**: The code is sent first via WhatsApp, which is highly interactive and cost-effective. 2. **SMS**: If the user does not have WhatsApp or fails to receive the message within the configured timeout (e.g., 60 seconds), the system automatically falls back to SMS, which reaches 100% of mobile handsets, even without an internet connection.
SMS costs in Morocco vary by operator routes and the use of branded Sender IDs. By prioritizing WhatsApp as the primary delivery channel, the average delivery cost per verified user is significantly reduced.
